転出届(てんしゅつとどけ)

Usage

転出届(てんしゅつとどけ) is filed at your current municipality's office when moving to a different city, ward, or town. Unless the move is done online with a マイナンバーカード, you receive a 転出(てんしゅつ)証明書(しょうめいしょ) (moving-out certificate) which you then submit along with 転入届(てんにゅうとどけ) at your new location. It can be filed up to about two weeks before the move.
