An official form submitted to the local ward or city office when moving to a different municipality in Japan.

転出届(てんしゅつとどけ)を出(だ)してきた。

転出届(てんしゅつとどけ) is filed at your current municipality's office when moving to a different city, ward, or town. You receive a 転出(てんしゅつ)証明書(しょうめいしょ) (moving-out certificate) which you then submit along with 転入届(てんにゅうとどけ) at your new location.
