My Number Card; Individual Number Card (Japan's national ID card)
The official plastic ID card issued by the Japanese government that carries a resident's 12-digit 個人番号 (Individual Number, commonly called 'My Number'). It shows the holder's name, photo, date of birth, and address, and contains an IC chip used for online government services, tax filing, and health insurance.
If you have a My Number Card, you can also use it as your health insurance card.
