Usage
皆無 is a formal, emphatic expression. It is often used as a predicate (皆無だ / 皆無である) or in the pattern 皆無に等しい ("virtually nonexistent"). More emphatic and literary than 全くない. Often appears in written or formal spoken contexts such as reports, speeches, and news articles.
