A group acting together with a single purpose. Almost always appears in the fixed pattern 一丸(いちがん)となる ("to become as one") or 一丸(いちがん)となって ("acting as one").
チームは一丸(いちがん)となった。
The team came together as one.
全社員(ぜんしゃいん)一丸(いちがん)となって目標(もくひょう)()()んだ。
All the employees worked toward the goal as one.

Composed of (いち) (one) + (がん) (round mass, ball). Literally "one lump" — a group fused into a single unit.
