dodgeball
A team game in which players throw a ball to hit opponents, who are out when struck. A fixture of Japanese elementary-school PE classes and recess.
Also written ドッチボール in casual writing. In the Japanese school version, players who are hit move to the 外野 (outfield) surrounding the opposing court and can return by hitting someone from there.
