ONOMATOPOEIA:
Describes complete exhaustion where one has no energy left. Often used for people or animals who are so tired they can barely move. Can also describe wilting plants.

CONTRAST:

  • へとへと: tired but still able to move
  • くたくた: worn out, exhausted (similar meaning)
