Completely drained of energy, often to the point of being unable to move. Describes a state of total physical or mental exhaustion.
仕事の後でぐったりしている。

After running the marathon, I collapsed in exhaustion.
ONOMATOPOEIA:
Describes complete exhaustion where one has no energy left. Often used for people or animals who are so tired they can barely move. Can also describe wilting plants.
CONTRAST:
- へとへと: tired but still able to move
- くたくた: worn out, exhausted (similar meaning)
