Indicates that something lives up to expectations or reputation.
さすがにプロは(ちが)う。
As expected, a professional is different.
2. even (someone/something); truly; admittedly
Indicates that even someone or something normally capable has limitations.
さすがに(つか)れた。
Even I'm tired now.
さすがにそれは()いすぎだ。
Even so, that's going too far.

TWO MAIN USES:

1) POSITIVE/ADMIRING: "as expected" - Praising someone for living up to their reputation

  • さすが先生(せんせい)だ: You're truly a teacher (admiring)

2) LIMIT REACHED: "even" - Indicating that a limit has been reached

  • さすがに無理(むり)だ: Even for me, this is impossible
