A container or rack for storing umbrellas, typically placed near the entrance of buildings or homes.

CULTURAL NOTE:
傘立て are very common in Japan, found at the entrance of most buildings, stores, and homes. Many public places provide them to prevent wet umbrellas from being brought inside. Some places have umbrella locks (傘ロック) to prevent theft.
