A compound of 年 (year), 月 (month), and 日 (day). Very common on Japanese forms and official documents. In Japanese date format, the order is always year → month → day.
COMMON COLLOCATIONS:

CULTURAL NOTE:
Japanese official documents traditionally use the Japanese era system (和暦) for dates (e.g., 令和8年), though Western calendar dates (西暦) are also widely accepted. The 生年月日 field appears on nearly every official form in Japan.
