the top leadership; the senior management team
The group of people at the very top of an organization, taken as a body: a company's executives, a party's leaders, or a team's coaching staff. Used when the whole leadership acts together.
Formed from 首脳 (a top leader) plus the collective suffix 〜陣. Because 〜陣 makes the word plural and collective, it cannot refer to one executive; for that, use 首脳 or a specific title.
