A count of six people, using the Sino-Japanese number 六(ろく) with the counter 人(にん). Note that 六(ろく) keeps its full form here — there is no small-tsu change as in 六本(ろっぽん) or 六個(ろっこ).

この部屋(へや)には六人(ろくにん)まで入(はい)れます。

Pronunciation

ろくにん only. Many counters turn 六(ろく) into ろっ (六本(ろっぽん), 六階(ろっかい), 六匹(ろっぴき)), but 人(にん) is not one of them.
