好(す)き is a na-adjective meaning "to like" or "to be fond of." Unlike English, it is not a verb.

Common patterns

[topic]は [object]が 好(す)き: [topic] likes [object]

The thing that is liked is marked with が, never を, because 好(す)き describes a state rather than an action. English speakers who translate "I like X" word for word often produce the incorrect を好(す)き.
