SNS

SNS stands for "Social Networking Service" and is the standard Japanese term for social media platforms. While English uses "social media" or "social networking," Japanese almost exclusively uses SNS.

• SNSを更新(こうしん)する: to update social media
• SNSで繋(つな)がる: to connect on social media
• SNS映(ば)え: looking good on social media (photogenic)
• SNS疲(づか)れ: social media fatigue
