to support enthusiastically, to be a fan of (modern slang)
In modern Japanese, especially among younger speakers, to passionately support a celebrity, character, or idol. Related to the noun 推し (おし, one's favorite).
あのアイドルを推している。
I'm a fan of that idol.
推しているグループのライブに行った。
I went to a live show of the group I support.
誰を推すかで友達と盛り上がった。
My friends and I got excited talking about who we each support.
推す has both a traditional meaning (to recommend/nominate) and a modern slang meaning (to be a passionate fan of someone). The modern usage has become extremely widespread in Japanese pop culture.
