The distance or route of a trip, or the journey itself. Used when discussing travel distance or the schedule of a trip.

  • In hiking guides, 行程(こうてい) is the route with its distance and time estimate.

Watch out

  • The homophone 工程(こうてい) means a stage of work or production: 製造工程(せいぞうこうてい) (manufacturing process), not 製造(せいぞう)行程(こうてい). 行程(こうてい) in engineering is only the stroke of an engine.
