thick (not thin)
Describes something with considerable thickness or depth. The opposite of 薄い (thin). Used for books, walls, slices, etc. Different from 暑い (hot weather) and 熱い (hot to touch).
厚い is an i-adjective meaning thick (having considerable depth or density).
