見(み)て見(み)ぬ振(ふ)りをするのはよくない。
It's not good to pretend not to see things.
見(み)て見(み)ぬ振(ふ)り = pretending not to see, turning a blind eye
寝(ね)た振(ふ)りをして様子(ようす)を窺(うかが)った。
I pretended to be asleep and observed the situation.
3. after (a period of time); for the first time in
Used as a suffix to indicate the first time in a while.
3年(ねん)振(ぶ)りに会(あ)った。
We met for the first time in three years.
As time suffix, read ぶり
久(ひさ)し振(ぶ)りに映画(えいが)を見(み)に行(い)った。
I went to see a movie for the first time in a while.
10年(ねん)振(ぶ)りに故郷(こきょう)に帰(かえ)ったら、町(まち)がすっかり変(か)わっていた。
When I returned to my hometown for the first time in ten years, the town had completely changed.

Usage

As a time suffix it is always read ぶり, and it is often written in kana: 3年(ねん)ぶり, 久(ひさ)しぶり.
