四日(よっか) uses native Japanese counting and means both "four days" (duration) and "the 4th" (date).

USAGE:

  • Duration: 四日(よっか)かかる (takes four days)

  • 四日(よっか)間(かん): four-day period (adds 間(かん) for explicit duration)

DAYS 1-10 (SPECIAL READINGS):

  • 一日(ついたち), 二日(ふつか), 三日(みっか), 四日(よっか), 五日(いつか)

NOTE:
