1. buttocks, bottom

The posterior part of the body that one sits on.

椅子(いす)に座(すわ)りすぎて尻(しり)が痛(いた)い。

My bottom hurts from sitting in a chair too long.

赤(あか)ちゃんのお尻(しり)を拭(ふ)いてあげた。

I wiped the baby's bottom.

お尻(しり) is the polite form

彼(かれ)は尻(しり)が軽(かる)くて、すぐに転職(てんしょく)する。

He's restless and changes jobs quickly.

尻(しり)が軽(かる)い = restless, fickle

2. rear end, back part

The back or trailing part of something.

列(れつ)の尻(しり)に並(なら)んだ。

I lined up at the back of the queue.

スカートの尻(しり)のほうにシミがついている。

There's a stain on the back part of the skirt.

靴(くつ)の尻(しり)がすり減(へ)って、新(あたら)しいのを買(か)わなければならない。

The heels of my shoes are worn down, so I need to buy new ones.

Can be considered slightly crude in formal contexts. Alternative polite forms exist.
