A specific instance or occurrence of something happening. Used to count occurrences or refer to a particular instance.
この度(たび)はおめでとうございます。
Congratulations on this occasion.
一度(いちど) = once
度重(たびかさ)なる遅刻(ちこく)で注意(ちゅうい)された。
I was warned for being late again and again.
今度(こんど) = this time, next time
この度(たび)、駅前(えきまえ)に新(あたら)しい店(みせ)を開(ひら)くことになりました。
We will be opening a new shop in front of the station.
何度(なんど)も = many times
2. each time, whenever
When followed by に, indicates 'every time that ~' or 'whenever ~'. A very common grammatical pattern.
見(み)る度(たび)に思(おも)い出(だ)す。
I remember every time I see it.
〜度に = every time ~
彼(かれ)に会(あ)う度(たび)に元気(げんき)をもらう。
I feel energized every time I meet him.
日本(にほん)に行(い)く度(たび)に新(あたら)しいお店(みせ)を見(み)つける。
Every time I go to Japan, I find a new shop.

Usage: Most often used in the pattern 〜度(たび)に "every time ~." Often written in kana: たびに.
