Something that makes you laugh or smile. Used when something is humorous or comical.

おかしい話(はなし)だね。

That's a funny story.

その映画(えいが)はとてもおかしかったです。

That movie was very funny.

友達(ともだち)がおかしい顔(かお)をして笑(わら)わせてくれた。

My friend made a funny face and made me laugh.

あの人(ひと)の話(はなし)し方(かた)がとてもおかしくて、みんな笑(わら)っていました。

The way that person talks is so funny, everyone was laughing.

子供(こども)たちはおかしい動画(どうが)を見(み)て、お腹(なか)を抱(かか)えて笑(わら)っていました。

The children watched a funny video and were laughing so hard they were holding their stomachs.

Context determines whether おかしい means 'strange' or 'funny'. When describing a person's behavior or a situation that seems wrong, it means 'strange'. When describing comedy or jokes, it means 'funny'. Can also be written 可笑(おか)しい in kanji, but hiragana is more common.
