2. crown, top (of head)
The top part of the head.

3. crown radical (in kanji)
The upper component of a kanji character.
この漢字(かんじ)の冠(かんむり)は「うかんむり」だ。
The crown radical of this kanji is 'ukanmuri'.
「宇(う)」のうかんむりを書(か)くときは点(てん)を忘(わす)れないで。
Don't forget the dot when writing the ukanmuri radical in 宇.
冠(かんむり)の部分(ぶぶん)が同(おな)じでも、下(した)が違(ちが)えば意味(いみ)が変(か)わる。
Even if the crown radical is the same, the meaning changes if the bottom part is different.
